Remembering them, in the right way

Funerals
At the time of losing a loved one, it can be difficult to think clearly about how you would like their funeral to be. For some families, a ceremony that celebrates the life that has been feels right; for others, a quieter, more reflective acknowledgement of their loss is what they need. Every response to grief is valid, and every family’s wishes are unique.
My role is to support you through these early decisions with clarity and care.

Memorials
Memorial Ceremonies take place separately after a funeral where your loved one is remembered and their life is celebrated.
These ceremonies are created with the same care and collaboration, ensuring the tone feels right for those attending.

Ashes Scattering
When a cremation has already taken place, you may wish to hold a ceremony for the scattering of ashes. This can be arranged in a special or significant location — a favourite walk, a peaceful landscape, or a place filled with shared memories.
These moments often bring a sense of closeness for family and friends, with words chosen carefully to honour your loved one properly.
There are also times when individuals nearing the end of life wish to make plans for their own funeral, or simply want someone outside their immediate circle to talk to.
I can offer a service of visiting, listening, and forward planning. This can be a reassuring experience for the individual, and can bring comfort to their family and friends, knowing that their wishes are being heard and will be honoured when the time comes.
